What is STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®?
STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® is an exciting series of extreme sports competitions and is regarded as the premier class in competitive woodcutting. This is where the best in the world compete. As early as the end of the 19th century, forestry workers were comparing their skills with axes and saws. Today, there are three axe disciplines – Springboard, Underhand Chop and Standing Block Chop – as well as the sawing disciplines Single Buck, Stock Saw and Hot Saw.
