Lecture: Forest and wildlife in dialogue

Wildlife in the forest

Professional perspectives on hunting, forestry and nature

The forest is a habitat, climate protector and place of recreation - but also the basis of life for wild animals. Conflicting goals arise time and again between forestry interests, hunting, nature conservation and the preservation of biodiversity.

How much game can the forest tolerate? And how much forest does the wildlife need?

Speakers:

  • Max Lang, Wildlife Officer Ortenaukreis
  • David Wiedemer, Academic Hunting Manager, Technische Betriebe Offenburg
  • Sarina Beiter, Project Manager "Wild-Wald-Bewusstsein", Landesjagdverband Baden-Württemberg e.V.
